Latest News – This weekend and NYE

October 24th & 25th @ Radlett

September parties. I had suggested that September might break records. Friday and Saturday were our biggest ever outside new years eves. Saturday clocked up 192, including 20 from SPICE (James gave a fantastic schedule of surprise cabarets etc.) and 38 from Interaction. Commiserations to those who went elsewhere or, worse still, stayed in.

Channel 4 documentary with Jon Richardson of 8 out of 10 cats. We still haven’t had time to watch the video but all the feed back is that we will like it. Around 60 people coming to September’s parties said they were coming as a result.

OAPs behaving badly. Within moments of the C4 broadcast, C5 wanted a piece of our action and sent Barcroft productions to beg for a documentary. They have been commissioned to do a 6 x 1 hour series on how retired people just won’t slow down. Their current title is ‘OAPs behaving badly’. I will lobby for ‘NOT the evening of their lives’. They want to film over 60s out performing their youngers. They already have bungee jumpers, hells angels, scary ride junkies. Trouble is, I’ve been 26 ever since I was 12 and I expect you are all the same. In the unlikely event that any over 60s do come here and are prepared to broadcast their energetic youthful life style, please make contact. I hope we can manage something for them, because a steady stream of TV appearances will secure this venue’s supremacy over all those wannabes. Barcroft have described several ways of filming parties anonymously (such as filming feet!). Given the Halloween theme, why not use a mask for being incognito?

stop press: Barcroft will be conducting research here at October’s parties and will be equipped to record anyone who wants to be part of their show – and obviously not anyone who doesn’t. The current plan is that November parties will be the mainly filmed event. Usual assurances apply – no one will be recognisable unless they ask to be.

Themes for October parties. No brainer here. How about Halloween?

New Year’s Eve. The first 20 places have already been snapped up but Couples committing and paying in advance can still get £20 discount from the at the door contribution (if any spaces are left) of £80. To allow you to pace yourself for this big one, see how we are changing the schedule in ‘dates’. Three parties in 5 days would be indulgent and knackering for revellers – not for us though as we are bionic. Those who need a pre-Christmas fix can book at the BMFC here on the 20th. Stalwarts can get back into the rhythm with a small party here on 27th.

NYE formula here is well established – black tie (plus the occasional kilt and mask), fireworks, midnight fizz on us, live link to Trafalgar Square, whole roast hog and lamb, No throwing out time, hot tub and pool. Couples and single ladies only except for 5 places auctioned for charity to sophisticated single guys. You would need psychiatric help if preferring to be anywhere else!

Menu. Janet plans for this month:

Miscellaneous curries

Other meats

Vegetarian bits

Cheese board

Miscellaneous cakes and gateaux

Home grown and made award winning:

Solely blackberry crumble

Toast and coffee for the après party gossip breakfast

A few reviews:

Hi Richard,
Saturday was only my second visit to Radlett, but another amazing experience. Lots of fun-loving and welcoming people were in attendance, giving a great atmosphere in the living room, kitchen, dining room, corridor, garden, pool and attic-dungeon! Speaking of which, we loved the dungeon room! The swing is huge fun and I now have to find a way to affix my own at home somehow.
The roast pig was superb with crackling to die for.

PS. Thanks again for letting us camp in the field

Many thanks

D and B

I absolutely loved it both nights.

Thank you so much, you are wonderful hosts.

The only problem I had was stubbing my toe on an eye-bolt in the pool room, which has swelled, turned purple and now resembles an aubergine! It certainly didn’t spoil my time though! (alcohol may have dulled the immediate pain of course).

yes, I came on the Friday. It was wonderful seeing Baz again and he was on good form. We never lost touch. I have been watching the TV interviews you made and have finally understood the attic room having seen you explain whats up there.

I brought a friend and we had some fun with another in the shed. Its been a while since I last joined the party and since I felt welcomed to the party. I really enjoyed it.

Thanks

Latest News – 186 people last Saturday, NYE Now Booking, RadlettParties on C4

One hundred and eighty and its not darts! We projected our biggest party ever, and, with the exception of some new years eve dos here that was true for Saturday. Our commiserations to those with insufficient control of their lives to ensure they were here on September 26 th and 27 th . The legendary James flew in from SPICE in Lanzarote as guest master of ceremonies and kept us wickedly on our toes with surprise cabarets and salacious games. Interaction also brought their followers so we were heaving. The reviews were pouring into the adult sites before sunrise.

New year’s eve . We have been asked by lots of you to build on last weekend’s success with the biggest end of year bash yet. Many will know that this is black tie with charitable theme. Expect fireworks, whole roast pig etc. No leaving time. If there are tickets left on the day the suggested contribution will be £80 per couple. The first 20 couples to deposit an unrefundable £50 to 110044 00149451 ref their names will be assured of places.

Some early reviews:

Hi Richard and Janet

Thanks for a fantastic party on Saturday, we had a great time as always! C is penning a proper note of thanks which will follow shortly. D

Channel 4 documentary with Jon Richardson of 8 out of 10 cats . We still have not found time to view this, but understand it can be viewed via the channel 4 website with ‘on demand’. Aside from one observation that Jon was ‘pathetic’, dozens of you have congratulated us on the outcome. Those whose interviews were broadcast are basking in friend’s and family’s adulation – even from relatives who did not previously know of their lives in the fast lane. 500 hits to the site occurred in the minutes after the first broadcast and it has gone out via other channels at least 4 other times since. So far thousands more hits have happened than would normally be expected and many couples came at the weekend because of what they saw. We had the home page on channel 4’s site for days (appended below). As Henry V meant to say to his triumphant troops after Agincourt:

‘ And 28 th June shall ne’er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we who took channel 4’s risk shall be remembered-
And faint hearts who hide their proper appetites
Shall think themselves accurs’d they were not here,
And hold their sexuality cheap whiles any speaks
That risked with us upon that filming day ‘ .

Radlett on TV tomorrow – plus news of our biggest parties ever!

Kids are safely back to school – time for grown ups to get back to partying.  Biggest parties ever?  TV show TOMORROW. Reversible kleptomania. We want to believe the person helping themselves to my cherished, long owned and damaged iphone 3gs at the last party was enduring a brief morality dysfunction that they have regretted ever since. Perhaps they have discovered that the market value is less than the party contribution, that it is mine, that the absence of the phone will thus damage party turnout next month and/or that the effort of reinstating hundreds of contacts is monumental. Either way, atonement is at hand by slipping it back somewhere dry at the next party where we will discover it soon and have doubts about whether it was really ever awol or just carelessly placed there by us. You know the right thing to do! Channel 4 documentary with Jon Richardson of 8 out of 10 cats. Channel 4 have brought the schedule forward so expect this block buster at 10pm on Monday September 15th   TOMORROW.  It is titled ‘Jon Richardson grows up’.  We have learned that the hour addresses 10 cameos, so we could star for as little as 6 minutes.  There are some hints that their slant is not as positive as they led us to expect.  Whereas the producers of the channel 5 documentary joined us with ice cream and pop corn for a preview before it was broadcast, channel 4 are saying ‘it is not convention’ to show participants a preview.  We have also heard that Alan Carr passed a snide comment about the visit here on a recent show.  They have sent participants guidelines on how to handle negative press intrusion and coverage – almost to the point of seeking psychiatric help!  Remember that this is not about us or swinging but Jon.  Judging by the inappropriateness of some of his questions (what goes on in this room then?) ‘growing up’ in the title is apposite.  We are preparing ourselves to fall back on the adage that ‘there is only one thing worse than being talked about (negatively) and that is not being talked about at all.  Channel 4 will lose viewer credibility if they regress to the passe ‘news of the world’ type of disdain that expired with that paper.  Either way, expect an influx of new revelers with the intelligence to see through any disingenuous slant. Themes for September parties. Having scanned the websites of all the major uk venues, the entertainment manager at SPICE in Lanzarote has asked to be guest master of ceremonies here for September 26th and 27th. He has entertainment and his own dj lined up for the Saturday. Expect whole roast pig plus some of his culinary preferences – Danish pastries for example. He threatens to add dozens of new couples each night. Also expect the parties to go on for longer – his dj expects to play until dawn.  Theme for Friday is black and white. Theme for Saturday is mask and lingerie. Best dressed couple wins a visit to SPICE each party night.  We have been asked to limit single guys to 15 on the Friday, so guys be prepared for a tough interview from Janet. So all in all, this represents fabulous value for our regulars who get all the extras and a much greater selection of playmates.  Do your bit by spreading the word to contacts so that all other venues within a hundred miles are empty that weekend. They’d be mad to be anywhere else. 17th October.  A gentleman who has been here before is returning to UK briefly and has asked if he can get some friends together here on 17th October.  We have declined to push the event for fear of diluting attendance here a week later.  If you can make both, or only 17th, let us know.  Not a certainty yet. Review the morning after last party from D: Hi Richard, What a lovely couple you are – allowing all those people in your house. I enjoyed my time with you both individually. I will need more anal training at some point and your wife is charming and smart – ( it’s very rare I see black women like that – I find it uplifting) As for the action – I did play but never felt that comfortable the ratio of single men was too high and they weren’t that interesting to me. My ultimate fantasy would be to have a line up. I love penetration and when a man comes I always in my head say ‘next’. I am however less keen on group sex- can’t keep up with hands everywhere scenario. I am single and have a very big sexual appetite which I satisfy in many safe ways. Yet discretion and a sense of class is also important to me. I am happy being single unless I find an equally libidoed financially astute very open minded man (suggestions welcome). Your place was so Big – I probably prefer a more intimate venue. People coming in and out of the door or chatting rubbish cos they are stoned or think they are king dick is so annoying. So I came mainly on your face Richard but also another woman’s. That’s good- I am usually the type who comes from penetration. I wonder if it would work for you to have a different kind of party.. With the party, I loved the Time in your private rooms – felt more natural and a better type of sexual and so social scenario. Have you thought of maybe doing midweek dinner parties for 20 or so people? sounds difficult with children I know. So ideally what I would like to do is to make my line up come true – greedy girl getting lots of cocky from some respectful men and having one man controlling it. Anyway thanks for your time and the delights of getting to know you – you are both so unselfish. Channel 4 shoot

Channel4_logoThanks to all those who dammed the tiny risk and made the evening an absolute eye-opener for the dozen or so from channel 4.  Especial thanks to the 9 who nailed their colours to the swinging mast by going public on their superiority to the repressives who keep their clothes on at parties.  The film crew were true to their word and we all consumed as much of their pimms as we were able.  The whole roast hog is beyond veterinary repair.  The three programmes are scheduled to go out November 24th for three consecutive Mondays.

New Year’s Eve at Radlett

There are still a few places left.  Congratulations to the many who have already booked their places.  This year’s arrangements for Nye at Radlett will be much as before.  The charity enjoying surplus will be Medecins sans Frontieres – they’ve had another busy year with Syria and thereabouts.  Expect the usual fireworks, midnight fizz on us, live link to Trafalgar Square, whole roast hog and lamb, hot tub at 40 degc, sauna, hot covered 50 foot pool, no throwing out time.  Couples and single ladies only except for just enough places auctioned for charity to single guys to limit male excess to 5.  If there are any spaces left on the night the door contribution suggested will be £80 per couple (£40 less than anywhere comparable!).  To reward and motivate early booking, those paying in advance have even less to pay.  You would need psychiatric help if preferring to be anywhere else!  £60 to Richard Stanley at Halifax building society, sort code 110044, account 00149451 leaves nothing more to pay on the night.  Give a unique reference so we know who to credit (names perhaps?).  Some years ago we rebated prepayment to a couple who claimed to have been bed bound by a horrible bout of flu – only to discover later that they had been bullied by ‘friends’ to celebrate down market.  Ever since then, prepayments have been non refundable.  The surplus goes to a good cause, so please keep well over Christmas so we can enjoy your company.  Around 20% of guys do black tie.  We sometimes get kilts, officers’ dress uniform a couple of suits.  The rest do smart casual.  Give jeans, baseball caps and trainers a miss.  Ladies tend not to need advice about what to wear on grand occasions – it’s an oestrogen thing.   We look forward to seeing you all – well those in good psychiatric health anyway!

Single guys.  Hitherto we have auctioned five places towards charity.  The winning bids have all been in the range £80 – £300.  However there have been some no-shows damaging the charity, the party and the guys who were unnecessarily relegated to celebrating at some lesser venue.  So this year, if you want to be here, deposit £50 as described above as motivation to honour the engagement.  Then email us telling us what your bid is as well as bank details in case we need to refund it, whether you have been here before and a bit about yourself (plus a photo if you haven’t been here for months).  The self assessment on the site will give you a clue as to what couples and ladies are looking for here.  We will get back to you as soon as we can, obviously refunding all those who are unsuccessful.  You will contribute the balance of your bid on the door (or online in advance if you prefer).  Good luck.

Others’ views of NYE at Radlett:

New Year’s Eve at Radlett is like a glitzy party in a Hollywood mansion. We were greeted by the charismatic, effervescent Janet who oozes glamour and charm. Both Richard and Janet make everyone feel welcome in their grand, yet comfortable, home.
The stylish dress code of black tie and cocktail dresses lent a seductive elegance to the big night.

The mood, as with all Radlett parties, was relaxed and sociable. It’s easy to strike up conversation with anybody and our host couple are always willing to introduce people to one another. There is a DJ and dancing in the sitting room, complete with a pole for the more lithe and adventurous. The kitchen is another focus where much social intercourse takes place. My favourite has to be the banquet of sumptuous dishes, usual at every party, which is only matched on a 5-star cruise ship. A whole roast hog and lamb were breathtaking centrepieces which gave the party that special ceremonial hallmark.

In a sea of music, champagne and erotic promise, your sexual appetite is whet downstairs. Like the grand buffet, its up to you, to nibble or feast as you wish. There is absolutely no pressure to watch nor participate at any time. However, as you ascend upstairs into the unknown, there is another level of titillating treats to enjoy. It can be saucy, sensual, or as filthy as you want it to be but always in the spirit of consent and mutual pleasure.

Oh…..and the midnight fireworks on the lawn were magical but I suspect some people were enjoying explosions until the early hours. A must-do for next New Year’s Eve.

Hi guys

I was at your new years eve bash and had a ball.
Could you tell me when your next party is?

New year’s eve

We have been reminded that our 30th consecutive New Year’s Eve is on the horizon by the first bookings having arrived.  Nominally black tie – midnight fizz on us.  No need to rush home – stay for 30 hours if you want.  This event has to be number limited so let us know asap if you want to join us for the big one.  Early bookers get £20 discount by remitting unrefundable £30 deposit online.  The Christmas Saturday party has been suspended so couples can save their energy for it.  Diehards can still party here on Friday 20th December.  Get those diaries out.

Erotic Art

A long standing and dear friend has artistic talent and has turned her hand to erotic art. For the time being she has opted to allow these to be used as decoration at the parties here. She has agreed to email us photos and prices for them should anyone be interested in adorning their own homes.
